It seems like common sense: babies belong whole, together, their little bodies in one piece. Ready to grow and be loved. Sadly, the abortion industry continues to subject healthy, living unborn babies to a disturbing procedure known as a "dismemberment abortion."
Here is how the New York Times, a publication with a 'pro-choice' editorial position, describes dismemberment abortions, also known as 'dilation and evacuation': "...In the procedure, the cervix is dilated with medication and the fetus is removed with forceps, often in parts."
"Parts!" Like baby arms, baby legs... you get the idea ... and it is a shocking one.
Unborn babies can feel pain. It is unconscionable that any child be cut to pieces.
The Pro-Life Committee, a project of the National Campaign, is urging passage of legislation to prohibit dismemberment abortions. Such legislation would save the lives of countless unborn babies, and highlight the fundamental humanity of the unborn child.
Please take a moment to write or call your elected officials today. Tell them to help stop dismemberment abortions. Because babies belong in one piece.
